About Me

I am a PhD candidate in the Predictive Plant Ecology Lab at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My current research focuses on how fire and grazing interaction impacts ecosystem functions and communities across trophic levels. I also explore how global change factors like nitrogen addition impact pools and fluxes of carbon in a tallgrass prairie ecosystem.

I am from Nigeria, where I studied for my undergraduate degree in Plant Science (Botany). I also obtained a Master's degree in Plant Diversity from the UK, so I have a strong background in botany and plant Identification. I enjoy botanizing and outdoor activities. I have learned how to country swing dance since coming to the US as I started my PhD journey in Wyoming!
